smalltalkers hosts workshop with Denise Stern of Let Mommy Sleep

"I attended your sleep class on Monday and have to admit that I was skeptical of your theory. The consolidated feeding schedule seemed unnatural to me. That being said, I decided to test it out. I fed my 4mth old upon wakeup at 7am, and then again at 11, 3 and finally 6pm at her bedtime. I gave her more than normal, 6oz per feeding, and miraculously, she went to sleep at 6:30 and slept without waking until 6:30am. I WAS SHOCKED! I didn't want to get too excited, b/c perhaps it was just a huge coincidence/fluke... but she hadn't slept thru the night even once in at least 3 weeks. So I followed the same pattern yesterday, bottles at 6, 10, 2 and 6 and put her to bed at 6:30 and she slept without a single peep until 6am this morning. I am still in a bit of shock over it. So thank y! ou for sharing your method, it seems it was the best 20 bucks I ever spent!"  RG
"I just want to thank you for all of your advice and tips in the October Toddlers and Tantrum Class. I have noticed a real difference these last two weeks and I think we have really minimized them as it only happens a few times a week with my 20 month old. You were right about telling them the plan and repeating it so they understand and also giving them choices. Example, my daughter didn't want to go down for a nap and starting saying 'no no!" But I explained after her nap we were going to read her Choo Choo books (she loves Thomas the Tank Engine) and we would paint and color too. She said "please please" as if she wanted to do it right then and there but I told her the plan was to nap first and then do it. She proceeded to her room for her nap and didn't fuss when I put her down. Anyhow, your advice was awesome and I just wanted to thank you!"  JK

"smalltalkers is a wonderful place designed pefectly for parents of babies and young children to learn and play.  It is bright and clean, and Terri Lee is wonderful!  The parents and babies I've met there are also wonderful.  Along with her wonderful classes and open play, Terri Lee also helps inform parents about other fun activities at her facility and in the community.  I highly recommend!! :)"  -J.

"I want to share the love!  I've been taking L. (now 18 months) to smalltalkers in Centerville for a while now, and he LOVES it!  It's the ideal place for stir-crazy babies and toddlers to work off some pent-up energy.  Our favorite, Baby & Toddler Open Play is held in one big, safe, colorful, open room full of toys, and kids play and interact while Moms get to relax/chat/discuss Mom stuff in a worry-free environment.  The owner, Terri Lee, is just awesome, and provides a warm environment for all. She gets to know everyone individually, so you feel truly welcomed each time."   -S.

“I'm so appreciative for your space, guidance and unlimited baby/toddler support & resources.  My husband and I not having any family nearby including not having my 100% mentor, my mom, next door, I do look to your friendly face and advice on Tuesday's & Friday's!”  -K.

“I  appreciate your help and am so grateful to our time at smalltalkers in shaping how we communicate and play even now six months later.”    -D.

“Thanks for letting us make up class today.  It was amazing to see how much “O” has developed since her first class.  Thanks so much for the enjoyable experience.”  -R.

“As Terri Lee led the class she gently guided parent and toddler interaction, generously giving tips on how to communicate with your toddler. Her advice in redirection and word choice was extremely helpful and had an immediate impact on the parent-child dynamics.”  –M.
